Donations Help Us –

Donations can be made by check, credit card, or PayPal. This is the most common form of charitable donations. Please make your check payable to WVSPF and return it with the form available here.

Gifts of Securities
The transfer of appreciated stock to West Virginia State Parks Foundation Inc. puts the full value of that asset to work for you and the park system. Capital gains taxes may be avoided with this type of donation. You may want to contact a professional advisor for legal, accounting, and tax advice.

Gifts of Real Estate
Gifts in this form will help avoid capital taxes and realize a charitable deduction. In the case of a personal residence, you may retain the right to live or rent the property under a special arrangement.

Gifts of Life Insurance
If West Virginia State Parks Foundation Inc. is made the owner and beneficiary of a life insurance policy, donors may receive a current income tax reduction. You may want accounting to contact a professional advisor for legal, accounting, and tax advice.

Bequests
Bequests of real or personal property take many forms as all or part of an estate may be given to the West Virginia State Park Foundation to be used or endowed for future needs, depending on your wishes.

Kroger will donate to our Foundation every time you shop at their store (at no cost to you). Here are simple instructions to get you started:

1. Log onto the Kroger website at http://www.kroger.com/ or download their app on your phone
2. Create a digital account – this is free and will give you a multitude of perks and discounts for your own shopping. They will give you a rewards number to use when shopping
3. Find and open “Community Rewards” link on the site
4. Search for “WV State Parks Foundation” on the list (using ID # TJ779)
5. When you shop at Kroger, remember to use your rewards number or swipe the plus card which will be available on your mobile Kroger digital account

That’s it! Set this up ONE time, and you can save money—and help us raise money for the West Virginia State Parks Foundation.

New Trail Brewing Co., a brewery known for its love of the outdoors and commitment to conservation and community will provide a portion of the proceeds from all sales of their popular Trail Marker West Coast IPA anywhere in West Virginia.
